The Pendennis team in Palma are presently busy with a wide range of yachts, which have previously been clients of Pendennis in the UK and Palma. These include the 26m Bermudian Ketch Velacarina. Sailing yacht Velacarina is going through engineering works, before her journey to the Falmouth to attend the 2014 Pendennis Cup.

Pendennis built sailing yacht Kenora is utilising the company’s experience of the vessel to provide engineering support and repair/replacement of bespoke hardware and fittings.
In April the facility will welcome the award winning motor yacht A2, who underwent a substantial remodel at the Falmouth yard in 2012, with the Pendennis restored 1903 55.5m Schooner Adela due to arrive in the same month, following her extensive worldwide cruise.
The Palma Refit facility is managed by Richard Hudson. Richard is supported by a core team of experts experienced with all aspects of superyacht refit works on a wide range of sailing and motor vessels.
Richard took over the running of Pendennis Palma in 2013 and brings both engineering and technical expertise to strengthen the success of the operation. He is currently training to become a Chartered Engineer: “For over 16 years I have worked in the marine industry as yacht crew, as an Owner’s representative, and have delivered projects as a contractor. Therefore I’m able to empathise with our clients and understand their priorities. Perhaps most importantly I am proud to represent Pendennis’ passion, professionalism and skills in Palma.”
