Sunreef Yachts has significantly reinforced its leading position as the luxury catamaran manufacturer in 2013. Intense and challenging for all the Sunreef team, this year turned out to be the best year in the 11 years of the company’s history. With 11 launched yachts, comprising 2 sailing catamaran debuts – Sunreef 80 Carbon Line superyacht Levante as well as Sunreef 60 LOFT yacht Grace, 3 superyacht project presentations, 6 catamarans currently in build and 2 new sales offices in Shanghai, China and Dubai, UAE; the company demonstrated a successful global expansion strategy, despite the general slow-down after the 2008 crisis.
Sunreef 80 Carbon Line Yacht Levante
In 2013 the company has launched 6 power catamarans, including three 60 Sunreef Power (example is charter yacht Ewhala) and three 70 Sunreef Power (example is charter yacht Skylark). On the sailing catamarans side, the shipyard launched 5 units including two premieres.
Headquartered in Gdansk, Poland and with a sales office in Fort Lauderdale, U.S. the shipyard also opened new sales offices in Shanghai, China in January and in Dubai, UAE in October. The company also took part in the most important boat shows in Europe, USA, Middle East and Asia, with promoting strongly its revolutionary power super yacht projects: 90 Sunreef Power yacht and 210 Power Trimaran as well as futurist super sailing catamaran concept: 165 Ultimate by Sunreef, all of which gathered a lot of attention and interest.
Sunreef 60 LOFT Yacht Grace
At this time 6 yachts are under construction in the Gdansk’s shipyard. Early 2014 will see an important launch of the second unit of the 82 Double Deck super sailing catamaran (example is superyacht Houbara). Additionally, 60 Sunreef Power and 2 sailing yachts – Sunreef 58 and Sunreef 60 LOFT will be delivered in the upcoming months. What is more, Sunreef Yachts is proud to announce that two new contracts have been signed within the last few weeks.
