'Engaging First-Time Superyacht Clients in Today’s Economy' has been announced as the topic of the International Superyacht Society (ISS) Annual Membership Meeting & Breakfast.

The International Superyacht Society (ISS) is delighted to announce ‘Engaging First-Time Superyacht Clients in Today’s Economy’, its featured presentation topic for the Society’s Annual Membership Meeting & Breakfast. The event will take place in the Grande View Room at the Bahia Mar, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, running on Wednesday, October 30, 2013.

The program is again moderated by Diane M. Byrne, Megayacht News and ISS Board Member. Panelists include leading industry and non-industry executives will who discuss finance, promotion lessons from successful tourism and destination marketing, and innovative luxury product outreach. Their commentary will cover the following categories. There will be ample time for Q&A.

Engaging First-Time Superyacht Clients in Today’s Economy

– Yachting, an Economic Engine: an overview of who today’s superyacht owners are, what they’re worth, and what they spend their money on in terms of leisure
– Yachting as a Lifestyle: promoting superyacht ownership and cruising as an idea and ideal, vs. a product
– Marketing Re-Imagined: consumer-outreach strategies successfully adopted by non-yachting brands, and lessons from strategies that didn’t work

The breakfast is sponsored by Marsh, the perpetual ISS Silver Supporter of the event. The Annual Meeting is open to ISS membership. There is a $25.00 entrance fee for those wishing to attend who are not ISS members; however, those wishing to become members may apply the ticket value toward annual membership dues.
