Nestled in the popular Spanish yacht charter destination – Barcelona, Marina Port Vell (MPV), set to become one of the world’s most elite superyacht destinations and, with phased marina completions throughout 2013/2014, the pre-eminent home port in the Mediterranean, is delighted to announce its sponsorship of this week’s Pinmar Golf Tournament.
The tournament, begun in 1989 with 19 teams, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has grown to 364 golfers with more than 800 guests attending the Gala Dinner. This year’s match runs from October 9-11 in Mallorca. Golf is played at the Son Gual course.
Marina Port Vell is again sponsoring the event at the Albatros level and has the noble goal of raising $25,000 in raffle prizes to commemorate the event’s 25th Anniversary. Through Marina Port Vell’s outreach, the following companies have donated items for the raffle: BWA, Chelsea Clocks, Decker’s, Electric Tuk Tuk Company, Eurostars Grand Marina, Evolution, Global Services, H10 Port Vell, ISS-GMT, National Marine, Ricky Tollenare, Smallwoods, St. Tropez Rocks, Van Allen Group, and the W Hotel.
Marina Port Vell’s support also includes sponsoring a specific golf hole, contributions to the event program and raffle tickets.
