Palumbo Yachts have unveiled the first details about their new Columbus 245′ SuperYacht Project. The wonderful new yacht is still at a planning stage, thus the company has not started the construction as yet. Some of the information about the 245′ Motor Yacht is still subject to change, however the renderings of her elegant contemporary interior will give you some insight.

The new Columbus 245ft Yacht measures 74.70 metres (245′) in length over all. Her beam is of 12.5 metres (41′) and she has a draft of 3.30 metres (10’10”).
The Palumbo Yachts’ new Project Columbus 245′ motoryacht is planned to have two Caterpillar 3516 B DITA-SCAC engines installed of 2,525 kW (3,464 CV) at 1,800 RMP. She should reach the maximum speed of 18knots and cruise at 16 knots. Her range will be approximately 2000 nm at cruising speed and 4200 miles at 12.5 knots.

The hull will be constructed of an ABS grade Fe 510 UNI7070/72 high strength steel and the superstructure of the Palumbo motoryacht Columbus 245′ will be made of aluminium 5083/5086 and T6061.
