Below are a few sad images of the 56-metre Benetti superyacht FB261, which caught fire at Benetti‘s shipyard in Livorno yesterday. The most likely cause of the fire, as reported by Benetti, could be the electrical storm that affected Livorno overnight. The fire was extinguished by 5pm and fortunately there were no injuries reported by the Italian yard. FB261 superyacht was close to her completion and almost ready to be launched.
