Tuesday, July 2, 2013, in Fremantle, saw the Sevenstar Yacht Transport successfully load 4 motor yachts on to its vessel MV Achtergracht, representing two of Australia’s most prominent yacht brands.

With 3 or 4 of the motor yachts to take their place in the 2013 Sydney International Boat Show, it was decided that the ship should divert directly to Newcastle to ensure a timely and safe arrival ahead the boat show, rather than continue her planned voyage via Adelaide and Melbourne.
By transporting the yachts on MV Achtergracht hours on the yacht’s own engines were avoided, as well as saving a time-consuming and costly delivery across the Great Australian Bight from Fremantle to Sydney.
