Horizon is delighted to announce they have been honored with two awards for new models this year: the 2013 Taiwan ‘Yacht of the Year’ for the EP148 motor yacht Horizon Polaris as well as the ‘Taiwan Excellence’ award for the RP110 yacht.

“We are extremely honored to receive these two awards,” said Horizon CEO John Lu. “It is a testament to our strength as a yacht builder, and we will continue to improve upon our technology, build processes and quality within our luxury yacht collection.”
The Taiwan “Yacht of the Year” Award, given by the Taiwan Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) since 1952, is presented each year to the most innovative yacht built in Taiwan.
Horizon RP110 Yacht
Organized by the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan, the “Taiwan Excellence” Award is presented to Taiwanese products that exhibit the best of R&D, design, quality and marketing.
In 2011 and 2012, the Horizon P130 (example is motor yacht Angara) won both “Yacht of the Year” and “Taiwan Excellence” awards, a great honor for Horizon and the P series.
