Italian builder Viareggio Super Yachts are currently building a 62-meter mega yacht, Hull number VSY003. This new 62-meter hull represents the 3rd hull in the 62m series from the yard after the Espen Oeino design of the 2009-built superyacht Candyscape II and the 2010-built megayacht RoMa
The VSY 62-meter mega yacht is constructed in steel and aluminum with a full displacement hull and is expected to weigh close to 1,100 gross tonnes. The superyacht is designed to be a long-range yacht with 6,000 NM range possible. The Hull no VSY003 62m superyacht is expected to have a spacious 11m beam and a maximum draft close to 3m.

The interior designer of the 62m superyacht is yet to be announced however she is expected to be able to accommodate up to 14 guests in a master suite and 6 double cabins along with space for 18 crew members.
Hull number VSY003 will be built to American Bureau of Shipping and MCA specifications and is expected to be launched in 2012.
