The Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIA) has sold out its exhibitor space for the 53rd Annual BIA Melbourne Boat Show, and is searching for further display space to satisfy demand from exhibitors.
BIA general manager Steven Gill said exhibitor enthusiasm for the show had been overwhelming, with exhibitors booking early and booking big.
“We have nothing but a few small booths left available, and we know there are still some major exhibitors keen to take space,” he said.
“With that in mind, we are negotiating with the Melbourne Exhibition Centre to find us an additional 3,000 square metres to meet the demand.
”The cancellation of the Melbourne Motor Show has caused various events to be changed around at the MEC, and we hope to be the beneficiary of that.”
