Ohana
Formerly known as project G50, sailing yacht Ohana, built by Fitzroy Yachts (NZ), is equipped with 2 x 99kw custom hydraulic swing thrusters. Uniquely designed to mechanically raise and lock into place leaving behind a completely faired hull providing minimal drag and so optimising sailing performance. These are identical to the thrusters designed, manufactured and installed by OYS to the award winning superyacht Zefira.
Sailing yacht Q5 Quintessential (hull YD 66) by Yachting Developments
Quintessential
The Warwick 100 yacht Q5 Quintessential, built by Yachting Developments in Auckland, is the first superyacht to be equipped with both thrusters and rigging by OYS. She has 2 x 36kw hydraulic swing thrusters one bow and one stern, for ultimate manoeuvrability in restricted waters. Quintessential is also equipped with Kevlar lower and upper mainstays and a forestay by OYS.
Feadship A2 superyacht refitted by Pendennis on her maiden voyage

During a recent major refit by Pendennis Shipyard, the 47m Feadship motor yacht A2 (ex Masquerade of Sole) was equipped with an OYS electric bow thruster. OYS enjoys a great relationship with the Pendennis team and this is just the latest in long list of successful projects.

Alloy 40 (example is motor yacht 111) is equipped with an electric fixed thruster designed, manufactured and installed by OYS. This striking aluminium yacht is one of many planned for the future.
46m Sanlorenzo luxury yacht Achilles at launch

The 46m steel San Lorenzo built superyacht Achilles is the fourth in the series and is equipped with an electric 20inch, 48hp fixed thruster. Achilles cruises comfortably at 15knts with a maximum speed of 17knts.
Dream Ship Victory Classic Schooner Mikhail S. Vorontsov
Mikhail S. Vorontsov
The largest all wood classic schooner to date, the hull and deck of mega yacht Mikhail S. Vorontsov were built by Dream Ship Victory shipyard in Turkey before being shipped to Balk Shipyard in Holland for final completion. She is equipped with a full Nitronic 50 standing rod rigging package by OYS.
