Last week there were news reporting a fire at the Benetti shipyard in Livorno. We have received an official statement from the shipyard confirming there was no major damage caused. There was no record of personal injury, except for some minor intoxication, however no one needed to be taken to the hospital and was attended to by a medical staff on site.

The fire that broke out on the 15 February caused only a partial damage to a vessel under construction. Everything went according to the standard procedures and the fire was finally extinguished by firefighters. Should there be additional information, Benetti will keep the press informed.
