New Zealand-based shipbuilder Yachting Developments have launched the 33m/109ft all-carbon sportfisher AL DUHAIL (HULL 1017). She will be based in Viaduct Harbour for the final finishing work before undergoing first sea trials.

The sportfisher was designed by Warwick Yacht Design, who also developed the naval architecture. The interior design is the work of the in-house team at Yachting Developments in collaboration with the owner.
The elegant, yet simple interiors are decorated with oak wood, cream panelling and white carpets with accents on the brighter tones of soft furnishing.

Accommodation is offered for up to ten guests across five cabins. The crew quarters include two cabins for staff members.
With a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L 2000hp engines, AL DUHAIL is capable of reaching the top speed of 30 knots and cruising at the speed of 20 knots.
“Al Duhail has been a very enjoyable project to build and we have relished working with these experienced owners,” says Ian Cook, Managing Director of Yachting Developments. “Our specialist composite team made use of full carbon epoxy construction to achieve the desired weight and performance – as a result she is sure to be fast and economical on the water.”

It is not yet known whether motor yacht AL DUHAIL would become available for charter once she is delivered to her owner and leaves New Zealand in February 2020.
The shipyard will be releasing more information upon the yacht’s delivery.
