Corsica is cool during the winter months at 8°C/46°F and visitors are advised to take extra layers as well as a waterproof coat or umbrella to be prepared for the 70mm of winter rain that falls over a fortnight period. Summers tend to be hot and dry with temperatures averaging around 22°C/72°F and rainfall around 15mm during the summer as bursts over 22 days.
