Special attention has been devoted to the winners of the 2016 MYS Awards at the Inaugural Gala Party.
The 2016 MYS/Rina Award was presented to Genesi by Wider for the eco-friendliest super yacht. The 47-metre Genesi is currently for sale at an asking price of €26,500,000. Meanwhile, Wider is currently developing their new project Cecilia 50m.

The 2016 MYS Exterior Design Award was given to Sybaris by Perini Navi. Superyacht Sybaris is a project of talented Perini Navi in-house team of architects and bespoke French designer Philippe Briand.

Finally, congratulations to Galactica Super Nova by Heesen Yachts for winning the 2016 MYS Award for the Finest New Superyacht and 2016 MYS Interior Design Award. Galactica Super Nova all-allumniium Fast Displacement superyacht was created by Heesen’s in house specialists together with Van Oossanen Naval Architects. The vessel reaches the maximum speed of 30,3 knots due to her innovative propulsion system and Fast Displacement Hull Form. Being able to accelerate from 0 to 30 knots in 75 seconds makes Galactica Super Nova one of the fastest yachts. Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design developed the superyacht’s interior design, for which they have received hight recognition.
