The WIDER Superyacht Division has selected Visedo as their supplier for the permanent magnet power drums. These shall power the propulsion system as well as hotel systems of the WIDER 150′ yacht.

These vital units shall be used as the electric motors that drive the WIDER 150′ superyacht’s diesel electric propulsion system and also the alternators for the 4 MAN engines that shall provide power for the yacht. WIDER’s diesel electric propulsion system is based on 4 standard marine engines connected to VISEDO alternators to create 4 variable speed generators. The current created by these generators will power both the propulsion and the hotel systems on board.
