The respected US builder, Westport Shipyard, has recently launched the 50m series motor yacht Hull #12 at its Port Angeles shipyard. Superbly designed by Donald Starkey and William Garden, the 12th Westport 164 superyacht Hull 5012 represents the third launch of scheduled eight launches for Westport in 2014.

The 50 meter superyacht Hull 5012 is Westport’s flagship, a high-performance tri-deck motoryacht that accommodates twelve guests in unsurpassed luxury. The series represents an exceptional landmark achievement in large yacht design and U.S. craftsmanship. She is ABS classified and MCA compliant.
Since 1964 Westport has taken a long-term view of the future, and has invested heavily in personnel, design, naval architecture, infrastructure, engineering and proven technologies to secure its position at the forefront of the industry.
Westport currently builds luxury motor yachts 85’, 112’, 130’ and 164’, at three shipyards in Washington State. The company is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
