VSY signs agreement to promote analysis, reduction and neutralisation of climate change impact

VSY sign agreement on board luxury motor yacht Stella Marine to promote projects that target analysis, reduction and neutralisation of the impact of climate changes in our industry.

Wednesday 26th June, 2013 saw Director  of VSY, Cristiana Longarini and General Director for Sustainable Development, Climate and Energy of the Italian Ministry of the Environment, Corrado Clini sign an agreement, on board luxury yacht Stella Maris,  on the promotion of projects targeted at analysis, reduction and neutralisation of climate changes impact in the shipbuilding industry, in presence of the Ambassador of Italy in the Principality of Monaco, Antonio Morabito.

VSY shipyard undertakes energy and resources to obtain products able to guarantee high performance reducing environmental impact. This agreement aims to intensify theirs environmental policy in the field of climate change, to support all the initiatives according to government policies on Kyoto Protocol and the EU “Climate-Energy Package” and to define specific steps towards a new, more sustainable governance in the marine system.
