Founded in 1985 in Zaandam, the Netherlands, Claasen Shipyards represents one of the most prestigious luxury yacht builders in the world. So far, the company has built nineteen Truly Classic yachts, designed by renowned Andre Hoek. Claasen is also a key player in the current revival of the J Class yachts. It has constructed luxury superyacht Lionheart, which with her length of 44 metres became the largest J afloat when launched in 2010.
