This week saw the successful launch of the 90-foot superyacht Satu by the Auckland-based builder Yachting Developments. Designed by Ullberg Yacht Design, this splendid Sports Fisher will be on display at the next Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

Dates for NZ Millennium Cup 2013 revealed – Three superyachts already signed up

Running from February 14 to 17, the dates for 2013 NZ Millennium Cup have been announced, with three entries already confirmed, including this year’s overall winner, the 34m Yachting Developments superyacht Silvertip, the 39.6m Alloy luxury yacht Janice of Wyoming, as well as the 31m Alloy charter yacht Pacific Eagle.

The well known Auckland-based shipyard Yachting Developments has successfully launched its 30.48m (100ft) luxury catamaran yacht Q5 Quintessential (hull YD66). Before starting its maiden voyage in the Pacific, this magnificent vessel will undergo sea trials on Auckland Harbour.

Due to be launched next month, the 30.48m (100ft) catamaran yacht Q5 (hull YD66) by Yachting Developments nears completion in the yard’s Hobsonville factory in Auckland, New Zealand, being built to comply with GL class survey requirements.

This wonderful vessel provides a beautiful owner´s cabin, two double cabins as well as one twin cabin, together with a children’s den offering two storable berths.

Dubois-designed superyachts performing exceptionally well at this year´s yacht regattas

Luxurious vessels designed by renowned UK-based studio, Dubois Naval Architects, have performed very well at this year´s regattas, including the 2012 NZ Millennium Cup, won by the 34m superyacht Silvertip, followed by the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous as well as St. Barths Bucket. Four Dubois designs are expected to compete in the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta and the Palma Superyacht Cup this summer.
