The Gazprom Swan 60 Class has received a one design class status by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF).
The ClubSwan members gathered in London on February 6 to participate in an exclusive reception hosted by Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Nautor’s Swan, together with ClubSwan partners Gazprom as well as the Yacht Club of Saint-Petersburg (SPBYC).
ClubSwan announced its 2013 to 2020 extensive programme, offering excellent occasions for Swan owners to share their enthusiasm in breathtaking locations, while taking part in regattas, cruises or social events.
An important Russian energy company, Gazprom, has been introduced to the ClubSwan Partners’ family, as recently announced by Nautor’s Swan. Their collaboration involves the creation of the Gazprom Swan 60 Class. Nautor’s Swan is expected to deliver 8 luxury Swan 60 yachts by the end of September 2012.

The Yacht Club of Saint-Petersburg’s Swan 60 yacht Bronenosec, with Russian as well as Italian crew aboard, is trying to bring the Russian sailing back on the map. Supported by Gazprom, this splendid vessel is currently racing in the 60th edition of the Giraglia Rolex Cup from St Tropez, France to Sanremo, Italy, leaving St Tropez for Genoa today.
Three days of inshore competition at this year’s Giraglia Rolex Cup brought a great success for a high number of Swan yachts, competing in this popular race from St Tropez, France to Sanremo, Italy. The Swan 53 sailing yacht Ondine placed first in the IRC B fleet, while the Swan 45 luxury yacht Mandolino took second place in the ORC A fleet, along with the Swan 60 yacht Bronenosec, placing third in the IRC o fleet.
Despite strong winds and heavy seas, the Swan 60 sailing yacht Bronenosec continued racing in today’s Giraglia Rolex Cup in order to gain the leading position in Class o IRC.
Swan 60 luxury yacht Bronenosec keeps her third position in her o IRC class of her first Giraglia Rolex Cup from Sanremo, Italy to St Tropez, France. She competes together with the 100ft superyacht Esimit Europa 2 as well as the Rolex Vulcano Race winner, sailling yacht Jethou.
The third Mediterranean race, the 6oth edition of the Giraglia Rolex Cup, is waiting for the Yacht Club of Saint-Petersburg’s Swan 60 sailing yacht Bronenosec, following the Palma Vela in Spain as well as the Rolex Volcano Race in Capri, Italy.
Following the challenging conditions of the Rolex Vulcano Race, taking place from May 19-25 in the Tyrrhenian Sea, twenty competing yachts are now preparing for the 60th edition of the Giraglia Rolex Cup.
