The currently running Giraglia Rolex Cup will enter its final phase today, on Wednesday, June 18, with the start of the 241-nm offshore race. This is expected to host some 213 yachts – a new record fleet.
The new ‘Riva Aquarama Lounge’ has been proudly presented by the Ferretti Group and the Yacht Club de Monaco. It will be located on the top floor of Sir Norman Foster’s masterpiece, the new venue of the Yacht Club de Monaco.
This year’s 62nd Giraglia Rolex Cup is set to kick off tomorrow, on June 13, hosting an impressive number of 242 yachts. These will include such outstanding vessels as the Swan 90 charter yacht Solleone.
Set to run from July 9 to 12, the inaugural Solar1 Monte-Carlo Cup 2014 will be hosted by Port Hercule, situated in the fantastic Western Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Monaco. So far, 21 teams have confirmed their participation.
The Solar1 Monte Carlo Cup is scheduled for the vibrant month of July at the new Yacht Club de Monaco, which is designed by Sir Norman Foster and is due to open in June, just ahead of the race.
This year’s 62nd edition of Giraglia Rolex Cup will run from June 13 to 21, hosting more than 200 yachts for the week of exciting racing. For the first and only time in its history, the 2014 event will finish in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

The prestigious Yacht Club de Monaco has been hosting one of its Captains’ Forums during this year’s Monaco Yacht Show. The event, destined for superyacht captains, consisted of two debates: ‘VAT for Charters: a headache for the professionals’ and ‘Protecting cetacean species in the Mediterranean’.
