The first race of The Superyacht Cup Palma 2014 saw superyacht Hanuman and Lionheart yacht share the King’s 100 Guinea Cup, with charter yacht Ranger taking an arbitration penalty after a port-starboard incident.
This year’s Superyacht Cup Palma was marked by a fantastic start. The event is being attended by five luxury vessels built by Claasen Shipyards: charter yacht Atalante, Heartbeat, sailing yacht Lionheart, Drumfire and Firefly yacht.
For the first time this year, the Superyacht Cup Palma will be sponsored by the prominent Italian shipyard, Perini Navi. Their impressive 45-metre luxury yacht Clan VIII will participate in the regatta, starting today, on June 18.
The ‘Solaris Day’ event, recently hosted by the Italian luxury yacht manufacturer Solaris Yachts in the lovely Italy yacht holiday destination – Porto Rotondo in Sardinia, was a huge success.
Taken place in Port Adriano harbour, nestled in the lovely Spain yacht vacation location – Mallorca, the recently concluded first edition of ‘Best of Yachting’ event was a great success for Sunseeker Mallorca.
This year’s 62nd Giraglia Rolex Cup is set to kick off tomorrow, on June 13, hosting an impressive number of 242 yachts. These will include such outstanding vessels as the Swan 90 charter yacht Solleone.
Beautifully penned by Hoek Design, the F-Class super yacht Firefly has become the overall winner of the 2014 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta. The event was hosted by the lovely Sardinia yacht holiday destination – Porto Cervo.
Taken place in the fantastic Sardinia yacht holiday destination – Porto Cervo in early June, this year’s Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta was marked by the excellent performance of the Oyster 885 sailing yacht Karibu.
