The popular Ibiza yacht holiday destination, Marina Ibiza, will be hosting the very first Ibiza Rendezvous Superyacht Regatta, set to run from October 8 to 11, 2014.
To be hosted by the lovely Sardinia yacht holiday destination – Porto Cervo from August 31 to September 6, this year’s Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup will kick off in less than two months. The popular Mediterranean regatta will be attended by such outstanding vessels as 100ft superyacht Esimit Europa 2 and the 216ft mega yacht Hetairos.
Sunreef Yachts will be participating in this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, running in the lovely Mediterranean yacht holiday location – Cannes from September 9 to 14. The company will be displaying four luxury catamarans, including the majestic Sunreef 102 charter yacht Ipharra.
The renowned German designer, Philipp Plein, is now present at the Marina Ibiza, a lovely Ibiza yacht vacation location, with a spectacular store. This stands on the outside a mirror, reflecting the life of the harbour and what happens around.
The very first Frers Cup 2014, hosted by the fantastic Sicily yacht holiday location – Trapani, was marked by a dramatic conclusion. The overall prize went to the Swan 80 yacht Plis Play.
Having been hosted by the breath-taking Mallorca yacht holiday destination from June 18 to 21, the 2014 Superyacht Cup Palma was marked by a huge success of the Branagh Marine Composite clients. These include the majestic Spirit 100 superyacht Gaia – one of their biggest winter clients of 2014.
After an intense battle, German Frers Swan 112 charter yacht Mystery was the winner of Race Three at the inaugural Frers Cup, after time correction. Vincente Garcia Torres’ Swan 80 yacht Plis Play was second with Armando Grandi’s Wally 100 superyacht Gibian taking third place.
The overall winner of the J-Class in this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma has become luxury yacht Lionheart. This majestic vessel was built by Claasen Shipyards to a design by Andre Hoek, a regular race crew member of the Lionheart team.
Being hosted by the lovely Sicily yacht holiday destination – Trapani, the first edition of the Frers Cup started today with a dockside Welcome Party.
Attended by an amazing number of 242 yachts, this year’s 62nd Giraglia Rolex Cup was another great success. The overall winner has become Bernard Vananty’s Swan 42 yacht TIXWAVE, while superyacht ESIMIT EUROPA 2 secured her fouth Line Honours victory in this popular Mediterranean regatta.
Next month will see superyacht refit and repair centre Varadero Valencia and its famous mojitos bar once again participate in the HM The Queen Trophy, with a special draw for antifouling.
June 20, 2014, in the lovely Monaco yacht holiday location, saw Prince Albert preside over the opening of the Yacht Club de Monaco’s new building. This has been designed by British architect, Lord Norman Foster.
