Hall Spars fitted yachts have reported a great success on the race course this season. Two magnificent vessels boasting Hall Spars mast will be showcased at the next Monaco Yacht Show, comprising Wally 164 luxury yacht Better Place and Baltic 72 yacht Stig.
The world’s largest sloop in carbon fiber, the Wally 164 luxury sailing yacht Better Place, will be unveiled at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. She boasts an exceptional 67,5-meter mast constructed by Hall Spars.
This year’s 23rd edition of the popular Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup was attended by several Hall Spars equipped vessels, taking victory in three of the five Divisions. These include Bella Mente yacht, superyacht Nilaya or luxury yacht Aegir.
The total number of 34 spectacular maxi yachts have kicked off the 23rd Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup today. These include the largest vessel to compete, the 66m megayacht Hetairos.
The luxury sailing Esimit Europa 2 has smashed the 2003 record set by the Wally superyacht Nariida. Dubois designed 66m luxury yacht Aglaia will attempt to break it this September.
The overall winner of the 2012 Newport Bucket Regatta has become the 102ft sailing yacht Indio, designed by German Frers and built by Wally. She has also won in her Gazelles class, while Sejaa yacht took first place in the Mademoiselle class. The next year’s regatta will run from August 23 to 25.
Running from September 2 to 8, the 2012 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup is to kick off in less than one month. This year’s 23rd edition will be marked by the competitive premiere of the 164ft sailing yacht Better Place as well as the 216ft superyacht Hetairos.
Recently refitted charter yacht ICAP Leopard has just finished racing in the Superyacht Cup in Cowes and is already preparing to compete at Weymouth for the London 2012 Olympics. This splendid vessel will then return to the Solent to participate in this year’s Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week.
The 50ft Indi Jones yacht tender for the 100ft Wally superyacht Indio has been successfully delivered by Rupert Marine. This splendid boat can reach an impressive speed range of 45 to 49 knots.
Measuring 26 meters in length, the first WallyAce motor yacht Kanga by Wally Yachts was successfully launched in June 2012. This highly innovative displacement vessel can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests.
June 19 saw the annual Monaco Yacht Show Summer Party at the famed Fairmont Hotel, with the presence of plenty of superyacht industry members, coming to speak about the MYS 2012. This year’s event will exhibit such jewels as the Benetti’s megayacht Diamonds are Forever or the sailing yacht Vertigo by Alloy and many others.
Marina di Ravenna in Italy saw the launch of the first WallyAce 26m motor yacht Kanga by Wally Yachts. Representing lowest consumption in biggest volume, Kanga can comfortably accommodate 10 guests and 4 crew.
