One of the Owners/Directors of VSY, Cristiana Longarini, was honoured with the Yacht Capital Marina Yachting Award 2012 at this year’s Genoa Boat Show. The yard’s 72m megayacht Stella Maris was a real star of the show.
Starting this Saturday, this year’s Genoa International Boat Show will host around 900 exhibitors. The largest luxury vessel on display will be the 72-metre superyacht Stella Maris by Viareggio Superyachts.
Built by the well known Italian shipyard VSY, the 72m megayacht Stella Maris was successfully launched in La Spezia on July 27. Being the largest luxury vessel produced in Viareggio in the last 30 years, her launch required the special structures of the military Arsenal.

Featuring a beautiful exterior by Espen Oino and Laurent Giles as well as lovely interior by Studio Reverberi, the 72m luxury yacht STELLA MARIS – the flagship of the respected Italian builder VSY – will make her debut at the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show, held this autumn.
Saturday 23 June saw the debut of the 72m megayacht STELLA MARIS by VSY, before her official launch in La Spezia. Subsequently, she will be presented at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
The traditional anchoring of the yachts of any sizes can be kept in the Balearics, as improved by the government, which is trying to safeguard the aquatic weed Posidonia. The well known Italian builder VSY reacts to these possible damages by introducing its Green Anchoring System.
