Nominations for the 2015 World Superyacht Awards are now officially open. The coveted Neptune trophies will be once again handed over at Amsterdam’s Het Scheepvaartmuseum on Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Sietse Koopmans, the CEO and Owner of Zeelander Yachts, has won the prestigious Voyager’s Award at this year’s World Superyacht Awards ceremony in Amsterdam. He spent 3 years and 3 months circumnavigating the world on board JFA expedition yacht Zeepaard.
Originally built by JFA Yachts to a design by Vripack in 2003, luxury explorer yacht Zeepaard (ex Axantha I) has been honoured with the Voyager’s Award 2014 at the recent World Superyacht Awards.
Alloy Yachts has proudly announced that its 39,16-metre expedition yacht CaryAli has won the World Superyacht Award 2014 in the ‘Best Displacement Motoryacht below 500GT’ category.
Nominations for the Voyager’s Award will close on February 10, 2014. The Award is part of the prestigious World Superyacht Awards and is sponsored by the well known NZ luxury yacht maker, Alloy Yachts.
Launched by Delta Marine in 2008, the lovely Setzer-designed 38m expedition yacht Marama received the Voyager’s Award at the 2013 World Superyacht Awards. This prize was introduced by Alloy Yachts in 2009.
The awaited 2013 World Superyacht Awards Finalists have been recently unveiled by Boat International Media. The winners will be presented during the gala evening that will take place at the fabulous Çırağan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul on May 4. The nominations for the Voyager’s Award remain open until the 31 January.
Nominations for the World Superyacht Awards 2013 will close on December 31, while for the Voyager’s Award on January 31. The 2012 winner of the prominent Voyager’s Award was the 46m superyacht Golden Compass.
