One of the largest carbon fibre sloops ever built in the Netherlands, the 42.6m charter yacht Sarissa was launched by the prominent Dutch builder Vitters in 2011. This spectacular vessel offers luxurious accommodation to 10 guests.
Received during the ShowBoats Design Awards held at the Monaco Opera House on Friday 22 June, the prestigious Naval Architecture Award went to Tripp Design for the exceptional 42-metre luxury charter yacht SARISSA by Vitters. With stunning interior by Rhoades Young Design, this splendid vessel was delivered in 2011.
This year’s Newport Bucket Regatta, taking place from August 24-26 will boast four luxurious vessels, designed by respected UK-based studio Dubois Naval Architects. These include the 44.7m luxury yacht Lady B, the 42.9m superyacht Drumbeg, the 49.7m luxury yacht Zefira as well as the 44.8m Timoneer superyacht.
Maxwell is to collaborate with the well known Dutch shipyard Vitters on two spectacular vessels, currently in build: the 33m sailing yacht Inoui, for which Maxwell will develop a completely customized below deck, submarine type windlass system, as well as the 46m superyacht hull 3067, expected to boast Maxwell´s twin VWC6000 installation.
Vitters 43m sailing yacht MYSTERE has been fitted with the NRG Sonihull System, developed by the UK´s largest marine electrical contractor – E-Tech Yachting.
YCCS Virgin Gorda hosts the Superyacht fleet, including such spectacular vessels as the 138´ Royal Huisman´s J-Class sailing yacht Hanuman or the 128´ charter yacht Ganesha by Fitzroy Yachts and many others.
Dubois designed 46m luxury sailing yacht Hull 3067 is currently in build by Vitters Shipyard. This beautiful vessel features stunning interior by New Cruise Design and is due for completion in 2013.
