After a consolidation of staff in early 2013, the well known NZ luxury yacht builder, Yachting Developments, has diversified to come out stronger, providing a full service offering for yachts. This includes refit work, survey work and haul outs, interior fittings and new build work.
Smuggler Marine has recently delivered their all-new Smuggler 700CC guest tender as well as Strata 540 RIB to the newly-launched ketch. In addition, the company has also handed over one of their Strata 630 yacht tenders to a superyacht docked in the Viaduct Harbour.
The all-new 56,4m superyacht Mondango 3 successfully hit the water on December 5, 2013. Scheduled for delivery in late February 2014, this beautiful ketch was designed by world-renowned Dubois Naval Architects and built by the prestigious NZ shipyard, Alloy Yachts.

Taken place from September 26 to 29, this year’s Auckland On Water Boat Show was attended by plenty of boat buyers. The event hosted over 180 exhibitors and more than 90 boats.

Organisers of the 2013 NZ Millennium Cup played host to a stellar evening of cocktails, dancing and the all-important prize giving on the final day of the regatta. The overall victory went to superyacht Zefiro, followed by Silvertip yacht and luxury yacht Ohana, respectively.
Ron Holland has captured a picture of Christopher yacht and Thalia superyacht, moored together at the Viaduct Marina in Auckland, New Zealand. Both beautiful vessels have been created by this renowned designer.
Auckland will again be a stopover for Volvo Ocean Race in 2015 as well as 2018, as proudly confirmed by Waterfront Auckland. The waterfront hosted almost 300,000 visitors during the last stopover in March 2012.
