The 2010 edition of the TP52 World Championship was officially launched at the Edificio Veles e Vents in Valencia today. The World’s will take place on the America’s Cup waters off the city between the 5th and 9th of October.

From 5 to 9 October Valencia will host the 2010 TP52 World Championship. The regatta fleet will be based from the Marina Real Juan Carlos I and will compete in up to 10 races, including a Coastal Race. The organisers expect around 10 teams to fight for the world champion’s title.
RC44 Class event held this week in the Americas Cup Port in Valencia continues to be supported by Future Fibres. Future Fibres are the official class supplier, having supplied 14 complete sets of rigging to the RC44 fleet.
Over the past 4 days two high-performance monohulls and multihulls have been loaded with a several cameras and microphones and put through match racing manoeuvres to help find new camera angles and test surround sound format for the 34th Americas Cup.
