Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta 2013: Day 2 – Luxury yachts CAPE ARROW and ATHOS leading

After Day 2 at the 2013 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous, sailing yacht Cape Arrow took the victory in Division A, while the classic yacht Bolero took the Day Two win in Division B.

Pendennis recruiting yachts and sponsors for Pendennis Cup 2014

Pendennis is now recruiting yachts as well as sponsors for the next year’s Pendennis Cup. The 2012 regatta was a great success, seeing 13 luxury vessels, such as superyacht Adela, competing. The yard will also sponsor the upcoming St. Barth’s Bucket.

An amazing campaigning summer for the 34m Royal Huisman superyacht UNFURLED

Royal Huisman luxury yacht Unfurled has been very successful in this year’s regattas, including the Pendennis Cup, taking second place, as well as the Superyacht Cup in Cowes, winning the third place. This beautiful, 34-metre sloop is designed by German Frers and was launched in 2000.

Marked by a special visit of HM The Queen aboard the 75m luxury charter yacht Leander, the newest WallyCento sailing yacht Hamilton has become the overall winner of the 2012 Superyacht Cup Cowes, followed by superyacht Adela and luxury yacht Athos, respectively.

July 23 saw the first day of the inaugural Superyacht Cup Cowes, marked by challenging weather conditions. The overall winner on Day 1 has become the 34m luxury sailing yacht Unfurled, built by Royal Huisman.

This year’s Pendennis Cup in Falmouth was concluded with the overall victory of the superyacht Mariette and Firebrand yacht, taking the leading positions in their classes. Firebrand is owned by the renowned yacht designer Ed Dubois, participating in the race.

This year’s Pendennis Cup officially ended on Saturday 7 July, with a spectacular ceremony, unveiling the overall winners. Class 2 has been won by superyacht Mariette, while Class 3 by sailing yacht Firebrand.

Marked by a more stable 5-7 knot wind, Racing Day 3 of the Pendennis Cup 2012 in Falmouth was won by superyacht Mariquita in Class 2 and luxury yacht Mikado in Class 3.

Racing Day 2 of the 3rd Pendennis Cup saw much lighter as well as changeable winds. At the moment, superyacht Unfurled leads in Class 2, while the overall winner in Class 3 is currently Firebrand yacht.
