Turkish Shipyard Proteksan Turquoise has had no less than three consecutive superyacht launches so far this year. The launching of the 3 yachts continues a positive growth by the Turkish shipyard into 2011. First in the water this year was motor yacht Turquoise with yacht Yogi following close behind and within week’s superyacht Talisman C was launched.
With motor yacht Turquoise, yacht Yogi and superyacht Talisman C – three Proteksan Turquoise superyachts sitting on the dock face at the Pendik shipyard, excitement peaked again with the arrival of the latest yacht that will be completed by Proteksan Turquoise, the 72.64m Motor yacht Vicky (NB54). Superyacht Vicky arrived on the Proteksan Turquoise owned floating dock to her new home during her fit out in one of the newly vacant sheds.
2011 marks a milestone for the Proteksan Turquoise shipyard with three superyacht deliveries planned in the first three quarters. First to enter the water is the new 55.4 m (182ft) motor yacht Turquoise with exterior design by Dubois Yachts and interior design by Hoek Design Naval Architects and Suntay Design (Turkey). Yacht Turquoise (Hull NB52) was designed as a repeat order from the original owner of Turquoise built in 1994.
