Transatlantic Race 2015 will be attended by new supermaxis, including the majestic 100-foot superyacht Comanche, as well as the 88-foot sailing yacht Rambler 88. The race will start from Newport in Rhode Island in late June and early July of 2015.
The overall winner and record breaker of the 2012 Transatlantic Superyacht & Maxi Regatta, the magnificent charter yacht ICAP Leopard 3, has been refitted this year. She boasts a beautiful interior design by Design Unlimited, just like the 72′ yacht Ran 2.
Zennström’s crew aboard the Farr 100 charter yacht Ran Leopard crossed the finish line in the 2012 Transatlantic Superyacht & Maxi Regatta in 7 days, 8 hours, 59 minutes and 12 seconds, smashing the course record that was set by Hetairos yacht in 2011.
Organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and the International Maxi Association (IMA), this year’s Transatlantic Superyacht & Maxi Regatta kicked off yesterday, with participation of such spectacular vessels as the 35m Farr 115 charter yacht Sojana.
The new blog community has been recently launched by the prestigious luxury yacht manufacturer, Southern Wind, from South Africa. The community will also christen sailing blog of the beautiful SW 100 RS superyacht Cape Arrow that will participate in this year’s Transatlantic Superyacht Regatta.
