For the second year in a row, the splendid sailing yacht Avel won the Rolex Trophy at the 2012 Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. Awarded to the best performing yacht over 16 metres in length on deck in the Tradition division, Avel triumphed over Lady Anne, Skylark as well as Marigold yachts.
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez France, the grande finale of the yachting season began today. Nearly 300 yachts filled the Vieux Port and nearby marinas for the weeklong Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. Spectacular fall weather conditions, a brisk mistral from the north with clear blue skies, prevailed.
