With sister ship motor yacht Livia being a finalist in the upcoming World Superyacht Awards, the yard is confident that a buyer will be found for the new Moonen 97 yacht by the time she is launched ahead of the sailing season.

Superyacht The World Is Not Enough is a 42 metre Frank Mulder design yacht that has a top speed of 68 knots. Due to an increasing demand for larger beach clubs, more natural light and a greater connection with the marine environment, Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture began a project last year to investigate the use of larger glass areas. Designs with large open spaces and windows from deck to ceiling are appealing and help work out the wishes listed earlier, but can cause problems for the strength of the vessel. They have contracted Lloyd’s Register and a leading yacht glazing specialist to provide their relevant input.

The 81-metre Air Yacht instantly becomes the largest Feadship available for charter in the world as well as being the largest yacht built by the De Vries Aalsmeer yard to date.
Moonen Shipyards in the Netherlands has announced that its largest project to date, which was originally slated to be a Moonen 133 (133 feet in length), has been extended by a further four feet to become a Moonen 137. The fully customised 42 metre Moonen will now carry a submarine that is capable of seating three passengers instead of the originally specified two.
