The next Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show will see the Feadship Heratige Fleet host American owners of classic Feadship yachts that were built more than 30 years ago.
The iconic Feadship charter yacht Highlander (ex The Highlander) has been successfully delivered to her Owners, following her comprehensive refit at Derecktor Florida.
January 2, 2014, saw Derecktor Florida re-launch the iconic 150′ Feadship charter yacht Highlander (ex The Highlander), following her major refit. She is available for Mediterranean yacht charter the upcoming season, from April onwards.
The iconic Feadship superyacht HIGHLANDER has been recently re-launched, following her comprehensive refit at Derecktor Florida, fully respecting the groundbreaking exterior lines of the yacht’s designer, Jon Bannenberg.
Currently under refit at Derecktor Florida, the classic 150-foot superyacht The Highlander by Feadship is scheduled for re-launch in late November. The refit includes re-furbishment of the engine room, new interior, as well as hull extension.
The Florida-based shipyard Derecktor has started working on an extensive refit of the iconic 150-foot Feadship superyacht The Highlander, built for the legendary Malcolm Forbes of Forbes Magazine.
The leading yacht repair facility, Bradford Marine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, was busy with several refit projects, recently completed. These include two Feadships, designed by late Jon Bannenberg: The Highlander yacht, as well as luxury yacht Lion Wind.
In order to unite the owners of classic Feadship yachts, the ‘Feadship Heritage Fleet’ was officially introduced by the prestigious Dutch shipyard Feadship on April 16, 2013. The first three members of this association has already been presented: the 1966 motor yacht Ammerland, the 1967 superyacht The Highlander, as well as the 1972 luxury yacht Heavenly Daze.
Formally launched by Clear Group International and a Board of Directors, Ports of CauseTM (POC) represents a program, developed especially for yacht refits, funded through corporate sponsorships as well as state-of-the-art product donations. The Flagship Vessel of this program is the 116′ superyacht The Highlander. Ports of CauseTM will be also presented at the upcoming Miami Boat Show.
