The Green Blue (TGB), the environmental initiative of the Royal Yachting Association and the British Marine Federation congratulated the MDL’s Port Hamble Marina for completing the TGB Marine Toolkit. The luxury yacht marina was recognised for the positive steps it has taken to make the marina more sustainable.
The Green Blue has been awarded The Crown Estate’s Marine Business Award for 2011 with a prize of £5000. The marine award recognises excellence in sustainability, innovation and business performance. Nominations are drawn from coastal and marine business operations and coastal community initiatives developed with community-wide involvement.
