When the TeamVodafoneSailing trimaran, a 60ft ORMA, hits the water in August it will be the fastest sailboat in New Zealand, and one of the fastest in the world. The TeamVodafoneSailing trimaran measures 18m (60 foot), and is as wide as it is long, capable of sustaining speeds of 40 knots – more than 74 kilometres per hour.
