Roger Talermo has become a new Executive Vice Chairman of Oy Nautor Ab, builders of the spectacular Swan yachts. He also currently acts as President of the Finnish Olympic Committee.
Swan yachts have performed exceptionally well at this year’s Les Voiles de St Tropez. In order to celebrate this great success, the splendid Swan 90 charter yacht Solleone hosted an elegant cocktail party for almost 100 guests.
This year has been record breaking for the prestigious Finnish builder Nautor’s Swan. The company’s order book is full of new builds and refit projects. They have launched the spectacular Swan 80S superyacht I Amsterdam and are currently working on the newest Swan 105 yacht.
The overall winners of the 2012 Rolex Swan Cup regatta held in Sardinia are: sailing yacht Bronenosec in Max, Natalia yacht in Grand Prix, Ondine in Classic and Earlybird in Rolex Swan 45 World Championship.
Day four at the 2012 Rolex Swan Cup regatta was marked by calm weather coupled with intense racing at Porto Cervo, Sardinia
Due to strong winds caused by Mistral, the morning’s competing on Day 3 of the 2012 Rolex Swan Cup was postponed untill 14:00 CEST. Day 3 victory went to charter yacht Highland Breeze (NED) in Maxi; sailing yacht Merel Four (NED) in Grand Prix; luxury yacht Shirlaf (ITA) in Classic while Earlybird (GER) took the first place in the Rolex Swan 45 World Championship.
Day 2 of this year’s Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup was marked by a 20-knot breeze, allowing to start the racing as planned. Victory went to Swan 80 yacht Berenice Bis in Maxi Class, Magical Mystery Tour yacht in Grand Prix class and Ondine yacht in Classic. Talj yacht has become the best performer in the Rolex Swan 45 World Championship.
An important Russian energy company, Gazprom, has been introduced to the ClubSwan Partners’ family, as recently announced by Nautor’s Swan. Their collaboration involves the creation of the Gazprom Swan 60 Class. Nautor’s Swan is expected to deliver 8 luxury Swan 60 yachts by the end of September 2012.
Almost 60 luxurious sailing yachts built by the prominent Finnish builder Nautor’s Swan, will take part in this year’s 17th edition of Rolex Swan Cup, held in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. The largest of these is the 35-metre Swan 112 charter yacht Highland Breeze.
The next edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 starts on 18 February 2013. Along with this year’s winner, the 215-foot superyacht Hetairos, the 2013 race will be attended by such spectacular vessels as the 180ft megayacht Adela or the 203ft luxury yacht Athos and many others.
Nautor’s Swan have carried out a comprehensive refit on the Swan 90 sailing yacht ALTAIR (ex Kora 5).
One of the most iconic sailing events, the 2012 Rolex Swan Cup regatta is to start in less then a month, from 10-16 September in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, Italy. Around 100 Swan yachts are believed to participate this year, with almost 70 Swans already having confirmed their participation.
