The majestic Swan 90 S super yacht FREYA is owned by Santa Monica-based Don Macpherson. The vessel won the 2014 Rolex Swan Cup, which was hosted by the beautiful Porto Cervo yacht holiday location, nestled in Sardinia, Italy.
A fleet of 93 sailing yachts is preparing to start the exciting 2014 Rolex Swan Race, which is beginning tomorrow at the beautiful Sardinia yacht charter location – Costa Smeralda in Italy.
The 2014 edition of the upcoming Rolex Swan Cup will mark the 30th anniversary of the partnership between Rolex, Nautor’s Swan and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. This year’s regatta is set to run in the lovely Sardinia yacht holiday location – Porto Cervo from September 8 to 14.
Finland-based shipyard, Oy Nautor AB, is currently working on a number of important projects, including the first superyacht Swan 115 S. She has recently entered Nautor’s state of the art Boatbuilding Technology Centre (BTC) to start the next phase of the build process.
The recently concluded Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2013 was marked by a huge success of Swan yachts. The traditional lay day, with the ClubSwan cocktail reception, was hosted by the Swan 90S charter yacht Solleone.
The majestic Swan 90 superyacht Altair has become the winner of the 2013 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in the Maxi Racing/Cruising division and she has also win the prestigious Swan Maxi Class Trophy.
This year’s Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup will be once again hosting a fleet of Maxi Swan yachts, competing for the Swan Maxi Trophy. The event will run in the lovely Italian yacht charter location – Porto Cervo in Sardinia from September 1 to 7, 2013.
The prestigious Finnish luxury yacht builder, Nautor’s Swan, has concluded the first quarter of 2013 on a high note, with continuous focus on the North American as well as Asian markets.
The recently concluded inaugural Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean was a great success. The Class A winner has become the Swan 601 luxury yacht Stark Raving Mad, while the Class B winner was the Swan 42 yacht Arethusa.
Day 3 of the Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean saw the start line antics dictate race leaders. This inaugural Caribbean race, being hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, will be concluded tomorrow, with the final prizegiving scheduled for 1700 local time.
This year has been record breaking for the prestigious Finnish builder Nautor’s Swan. The company’s order book is full of new builds and refit projects. They have launched the spectacular Swan 80S superyacht I Amsterdam and are currently working on the newest Swan 105 yacht.
Nautor’s Swan are looking forward to the new year with their yard’s capacity almost full. The shipyard is currently working on two Swan 100 yachts, a Swan 90, a Swan 82 and Swan 80 as well as refitting a number of other stunning Swan sailing yachts.
