Southern Wind SW 94 super yacht WINDFALL will participate in the inaugural RORC Transatlantic Race, set to kick off tomorrow, on November 29, 2014. This majestic vessel has been superbly penned by Reichel Pugh and Nauta Design.
The highly anticipated RORC Transatlantic Race from Lanzarote to Grenada is set to start in just 11 days. The race will be attended by such outstanding vessels as the 28m Southern Wind sailing yacht Windfall, as well as the 30m Finot Conq superyacht Nomad IV.
South African builder, Southern Wind Shipyard, is currently working on the all-new 29-metre super yacht SW 94#03, beautifully designed by Nauta. Her naval architecture is by Reichel Pugh Yacht Design.
Designed by Nauta Design and Reichel Pugh Yacht Design, the Southern Wind 94 superyacht Kiboko has been shortlisted for the ADI Compasso D’ Oro Award in the ‘Design for Environments’ category.
This month’s Monaco Yacht Show will be marked by the world debut of two Southern Wind luxury vessels: the SW102 n°02 sailing yacht HEVEA, as well as the SW94 n°02 superyacht WINDFALL. The company has also become the first yard to have achieved the RINA RIG certification.
The currently running Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2013 is being marked by the debut of the Southern Wind 94 superyacht Windfall Pioneer Investments. The event will last until September 7.
This year’s Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta was successfully concluded on June 8, hosting such majestic vessels as the SW 100 yacht Cape Arrow and the SW 94 yacht Windfall, both built by the respected South African shipyard, Southern Wind.

The new 28.64m Southern Wind 94 sailing yacht is under construction at South Africa’s Southern Wind Shipyard, with the intention of launching her late this summer.
