Fifteen members of the New Zealand Marine Export Group will be attending this week’s Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam, including Doyle Sails New Zealand, presenting their Stratis ICE sail fibre. This will be featured on such outstanding vessels as the 37m charter yacht Moonbird.
Three prestigious New Zealand-based luxury yacht builders, including Alloy Yachts, Yachting Developments, as well as Fitzroy Yachts, have been shortlisted for the 2013 ISS Design Awards. The winners will be announced in Fort Lauderdale tomorrow, on October 23.
A total number of 17 New Zealand-based organisations will participate in the next Monaco Yacht Show, including such important superyacht builders as Alloy Yachts and Fitzroy Yachts.
SINZ, the New Zealand based marine interior specialist, has recently announced the change of ownership. The new owners, Marina and Michael Waterhouse, with over 15 years of experience, look forward to rebuilding their company.
It was a double victory for the prominent NZ manufacturer, Yachting Developments, at the 2013 World Superyacht Awards. The company has won in both the Refitted category for their refit of the J Class charter yacht Endeavour JK4, as well as Judges Special Award for Catamarans, for the 100-foot sailing catamaran yacht Quintessential (Q5).
The well known NZ builder Yachting Developments has successfully delivered the 30.48m (100ft) sailing yacht Q5 Quintessential (hull YD 66) to her new Owner, after completing her recent sea trials. This splendid vessel boasts beautiful traditional teak interiors and large outdoor entertainment/bar area.
Superyacht Interiors New Zealand Limited (SINZ) announced today that it acquired Robinson Marine Interiors in June 2010. SINZ designs, manufactures and installs and refits contemporary, light weight and traditional marine interiors for superyachts, sailing and motor yachts ranging from 100 to 260 ft in length.
