This year’s 7th edition of the Superyacht Design Symposium has been a great success. The highlight of the programme was the eagerly awaited ShowBoats Design Awards 2015.
It has been a huge success for the British companies at the recent ShowBoats Design Awards 2015. British Marine Federation (BMF) members, Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD) and Design Unlimited, have been honoured with the Neptune trophies for motor yacht Como and sailing yacht WinWin, respectively.
This year’s Superyacht Design Symposium will start at the quintessentially Austrian Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt, an exclusive 5-star resort in Kitzbühel, this weekend. During the final Symposium session on Monday afternoon, the 2015 ShowBoats Design Awards Winners will be unveiled.
Swarovski has been once again announced as Gold Sponsor of the Superyacht Design Symposium, set to run from February 22 to 24, 2015. Guests of this prestigious event will have a unique opportunity to experience the Swarovski Surface Collection, created in partnership with British naval architect Martin Francis.
The Blohm+Voss Ski Cup 2015, presented by high-performance ski brand Foil, will once again bring superyacht stars to the slopes during the Superyacht Design Symposium. The Ski Cup will be hosted by the popular ski area of Oberndorf in Tirol.
Six finalists of the 2015 Young Designer of the Year Award have been announced. The winner will be unveiled at the ShowBoats Design Awards Prize Giving, set to be held during the Superyacht Design Symposium in Kitzbühel, Austria on Monday 23 February.
Entries for the 2015 Young Designer of the Year Award will close at midday (GMT) on 9 January, 2015. The winner of the competition will be presented with a gold Neptune trophy and a €5,000 cash prize at the ShowBoats Design Awards, which will be held on February 23, 2015.
Horizon RP110 super yacht ESTHER 7 has been announced as one of the finalists for the ShowBoats Design Award 2015 in the ‘Interior Design Award – Motor Yacht below 500GT’ category. Winners will be unveiled during the annual Superyacht Design Symposium, which will be held in Kitzbühel, Austria, running from February 22-24th, 2015.
The Superyacht Design Symposium 2015 is expected to feature an inspiring panel of expert speakers, including yacht designers Terence Disdale and Andrew Winch, as well as yacht stylists Espen Oeino and Peder Eidsgaard.

Just one month remains to nominate for the ShowBoats Design Awards 2015. Such outstanding vessel as the 49m Rossi Navi yacht Polaris and the 46m Feadship superyacht Como have already registered for these prestigious awards.
