The prestigious Real Club Nautico Palma, with strategic position in the centre of the Bay of Palma and very close to the official village of the race, has been selected as a new host yacht club of this year´s Superyacht Cup Palma.
This year´s Superyacht Cup Palma has only a few last places available for superyachts wishing to take part in this famous race. The recent entries include such splendid vessels as the last year´s winner, the 24m superyacht Drumfire or the winner of this year´s St Barths Bucket Regatta, the 43m charter yacht This is Us.
Portland, the venue for this year’s Olympic and Paralympics sailing races, is ready to become a hot superyacht destination this summer with multiple deep water berths and anchorages available.
Entry list for Superyacht Cup Cowes, held in July 22-25, 2012 is almost full with 21 provisional entries to date, including the Dykstra & Partners designed 55m sailing yacht Adela built by Pendennis Shipyard, the Hoek designed 62m superyacht Athos built by Holland Jachtbouw and the Dykstra & Partners designed impressive 67m Hetairos superyacht built by Baltic Yachts.

The 16th edition of Superyacht Cup Palma, held in June 20-23, 2012 will be host 15 entries currently confirmed, including the 53m sailing yacht Fidelis by Perini Navi, and the new Dubois designed 45m Salperton superyacht built by New Zealand yard Fitzroy Yachts.
The luxury yacht builder Royal Huisman and Rondal have been presented as new silver sponsors for both Superyacht Cup Palma and Superyacht Cup Cowes, UK.
International insurance company Pantaenius has renewed a three year sponsorship agreement with the Superyacht Cup regatta in Palma, including sponsorship of the Superyacht Cup Cowes, UK held in July 22-25.
The UK based ship repairer, Burgess Marine Ltd. offers its services, including both planned works and emergency support to Superyachts in the UK in 2012. Recently Burgess Marine has worked onboard the motor yacht Bystander, the sailing yacht Velsheda, the Hetairos superyacht, and the charter yacht Infinity as well as a 44m Feadship and a 64m Classic Motor Yacht.
2012 Superyacht Cup has reported a growing entry list for their upcoming regattas to be held in Cowes, UK from 22-25 July, 2012 and Palma Superyacht Cup to be held from 20-23 June, 2012.
