2013 – another busy year for superyacht racing

This year’s superyacht racing season will kick off with the Antigua Superyacht Challenge, that will start at the end of this month. There will once again be a highly anticipated Superyacht Cup Palma that will host such spectacular vessels as Perini Navi charter yacht P2.

The overall winner of the Superyacht Cup Palma 2012 has become the 40m Royal Huisman charter yacht Maria Cattiva, followed by charter yachts Atalante and Highland Breeze, respectively.

Competing through a confused wind pattern, Day 2 of this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma brought the victory of the superyacht Firefly in Class 1, followed by charter yachts Atalante and Maria Cattiva, respectively, both belonging to Class 2.

Luxurious vessels designed by renowned UK-based studio, Dubois Naval Architects, have performed very well at this year´s regattas, including the 2012 NZ Millennium Cup, won by the 34m superyacht Silvertip, followed by the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous as well as St. Barths Bucket. Four Dubois designs are expected to compete in the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta and the Palma Superyacht Cup this summer.
