STP Shipyard has proudly announced that 85% of participating yachts at the Superyacht Cup Palma have performed their maintenance works during the last season at their facilities.
The first edition of the STP&ACREW Superyacht Professional Development sessions were held at the facilities of STP in Palma de Mallorca at the beginning of this month. The call had a huge success, since nearly 400 people joined the different courses, which were on offer.

The spectacular 2002 superyacht Borkumriff IV has confirmed her participation in this year’s Superyacht Cup in Palma. This beautiful 51-metre sloop was built by Royal Huisman and designed by Dykstra Naval Architects. She will be the largest yacht to compete this year.

The mast of the 56m Perini Navi superyacht ASAHI has been recently unstepped at STP shipyard. At 58,8 meters in length, this represents the tallest mast that has been unstepped in Mallorca to date.

A total number of 22 yachts have already confirmed their participation in the 2014 Superyacht Cup Palma. These include the first time participants such as the 45m Perini Navi sailing yacht Clan VIII, as well as the Nautor’s Swan 100 superyacht Muzuni.
After six months ashore, the 41m Alloy superyacht Destination was re-launched at STP shipyard yesterday, on March 4, in order to continue her extensive refit afloat.
