The beautiful Crown Bay Marina in St. Thomas, the US Virgin Islands, has been honoured with the prestigious Blue Flag Certification, granted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).
In response to the increasing demand for more flexible dockage programs from its customers, IGY Marinas has launched a new 365-day berthing plan for yachts over 80 feet: The Anchor Pass. This includes 8 IGY superyacht marinas, such as Yacht Haven Grande, situated in a popular Caribbean yacht charter destination – St. Thomas.
Yacht Path Marine Group is currently working on the transportation of the 270-ton, 140-foot custom-build pirate ship “Black Pearl” from Barbers Point, Hawaii to St. Thomas, USVI that will take three weeks.
IGY’s Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas, the Rodney Bay Marina in St. Lucia, as well as the Yacht Club Isle de Sol in St. Maarten have been all awarded with 5 Gold Anchors each. Received by Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA), all of these superyacht marinas make part of the IGY Yacht Haven Grande Collection.
IGY Marinas has recently presented Mr. Gili Wojnowich in the role of a new General Marina Manager for Yacht Haven Grande St. Thomas in the fabulous Caribbean.
Situated in the popular Caribbean yacht charter destinations – St. Thomas, St. Lucia and St. Martin – three fabulous superyacht marinas, including Yacht Haven Grande, Rodney Bay Marina as well as The Yacht Club at Isle de Sol have been awarded the ICOMIA Clean Marina Award. All of these belong to IGY Marinas.
A second day of racing for 68 yachts at the International Rolex Regatta 2012 showcased the coastal beauty of St. Thomas and St. John islands with IRC as well as CSA distance courses.
The three-day International Rolex Regatta started on Saturday, March 24 with “town races”.
39th International Rolex Regatta, attended by sailing yachts from all over the world is a three-day event, scheduled for March 23-25, is hosted by St. Thomas Yacht Club, which for 39 years has devoted itself to producing this regatta’s famed offerings: three days of high-quality racing and serious fun in an inspiringly scenic island atmosphere.
