Today, Friday, March 7, saw an amazing start to this year’s 34th edition of the annual St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, marked by sweet easterly tradewinds hovering in the 14-18 knot range, with gusts in the low 20s.
This year’s St.Maarten Heineken Regatta Rock and Reggae Night will be undoubtedly legendary. Set to start on Thursday March 6th with the Dance Fever Party, the event will continue on Friday March 7th with Rock and Reggae, Saturday March 8th with Caribbean Jam, and will conclude with a Legendary Party on Sunday March 9th.
The upcoming St. Maarten Heineken Regatta 2014 will start on March 6, with the traditional warm-up race known as ‘Gill Commodore’s Cup’. The largest vessel to compete this year will be the Oyster 885 charter yacht Clare.
The highly anticipated 34th edition of St. Maarten Heineken Regatta will be marked by three day of Serious Sailing and four Regatta nights. The opening night will host the performance of Christine Gordon.

Trinidadian music group, Kes the band, has been confirmed as the main performer for the Caribbean Jam night at the 34th St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, which will be held on Saturday night, March 7.
The upcoming St. Maarten Heineken Regatta will feature 4 nights of parties, starting with the Dance Fever Party on March 6 and ending with a Legendary Party on March 9.
The 9th Annual Captains Briefing and Reception will be hosted by the US Superyacht Association in the beautiful Caribbean yacht charter destination – St Maarten from January 22 to 23, 2014.
