In order to enhance fair racing as well as safe sailing, the St Barths Bucket organizers have announced some racing changes. This year’s regatta will also represent the first gathering of five or more J class yachts since 1937.
A total number of 38 entries have already signed up for the famous St. Barths Bucket that will run next month. One of these is the 45 m Vitters superyacht Lady B, designed by Dubois Naval Architects.
A total number of 7 luxury vessels, designed by Dubois Naval Architects, have confirmed their participation in the 2013 St. Barths Bucket as of 15 November. These include such spectacular vessels as the 45m Vitters sailing yacht Lady B or the 45m Fitzroy charter yacht Salperton IV. Dubois has also confirmed the sponsorship of this popular race.

Luxurious vessels designed by renowned UK-based studio, Dubois Naval Architects, have performed very well at this year´s regattas, including the 2012 NZ Millennium Cup, won by the 34m superyacht Silvertip, followed by the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous as well as St. Barths Bucket. Four Dubois designs are expected to compete in the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta and the Palma Superyacht Cup this summer.
The prominent US shipyard Hodgdon Yachts is proud to present its 30.2m superyacht WINDCREST, finishing 3rd overall in the popular Caribbean race, St. Barth´s Bucket. This beautiful 2006 vessel boasts three lovely staterooms with ensuites, and a spacious salon.
The 43m luxury sailing yacht This Is Us (ex Skylge), a winner of this year´s St Bart´s Bucket regatta, is a spectacular schooner, built by Holland Jachtbouw and designed by Andre Hoek. Preparing for the Palma Superyacht Cup in June, this beautiful vessel boasts the perfect layout for charter, providing an owners’ stateroom, VIP suite, two guest cabins as well as generous amount of deck space.
This year´s St Barths Bucket Regatta was a huge success for the four Hoek Design superyachts, including the charter yacht This Is Us, the superyacht Firefly, the sailing yacht Marie as well as the Athos megayacht.

It has been the first time in 75 years, that four Dykstra Naval Architects designed J’s, including the 130´ charter yacht Endeavour, the 129´ sailing yacht Velsheda, the 138´ superyacht Hanuman and the 41.55m charter yacht Ranger competed together in the St Barths Bucket Regatta.

Race Day Two offered another fantastic day at the Saint Barths Bucket, full of the sun. Besides the sunshine, a steadily freshening breeze brought the massive fleet just what it needed to move around the “Not So Wiggly” course at a quick and exciting clip.
