The eagerly awaited RORC Caribbean 600 will start on Monday, February 24, 2014, hosting a record number of 65 yachts. The largest vessel to compete will be the 203ft mega yacht ATHOS, designed by Hoek.
The second SW82 superyacht GRANDE ORAZIO successfully hit the water at Southern Wind Shipyard in Cape Town on Sunday, January 19, 2014. She is a sistership to Feelin’ Good yacht, launched just six months ago.
The well known South African luxury yacht manufacturer, Southern Wind Shipyard, expressed their deep gratitude for the legacy left by former president, Nelson Mandela. He passed away on December 5, 2013.

The currently running Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2013 is being marked by the debut of the Southern Wind 94 superyacht Windfall Pioneer Investments. The event will last until September 7.
Luxury S/Y Feelin’ Good is currently leaving for her maiden voyage from South Africa to Monaco in the Mediterranean, where she will see her world premiere at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show.
The all-new SW82 superyacht Feelin’ Good has recently hit the water at the respected South African yard, Southern Wind. To be displayed at the Monaco Yacht Show 2013, she features lovely accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 cabins.
A sister ship to luxury yacht Almagores II as well as Hevea yacht, the third SW102 superyacht Farfalla is currently under construction at the Southern Wind Shipyard in South Africa. She is due to be launched in early summer 2014.
Nauta-designed 84-foot luxury yacht My Song has triumphed at the recently concluded Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta. The event was also marked by a great success of two other Nauta-designed vessels: the 34m sailing yacht Nilaya, as well as the 30m superyacht Cape Arrow.
This year’s Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta was successfully concluded on June 8, hosting such majestic vessels as the SW 100 yacht Cape Arrow and the SW 94 yacht Windfall, both built by the respected South African shipyard, Southern Wind.
